Help for Copying Data from VHS to DVD
Step Summary:
- Insert the tape
- Insert the DVD
- Copy the tape to DVD
- Turn on the TV
- Use remote to select DVD mode, system menu
- Menu appears on TV
- Use remote to select disc setting, then press "enter"
- Name the DVD
- Finalize the DVD burning process
- Remove VHS and DVD
Don't forget to turn off the TV!
Step 1:
Insert the VHS tape into the unit.

Step 2:
Insert the DVD into the unit by pressing the open/close button as circled.

Step 3:
Press the left arrow button on unit as circled.
When the arrow turns blue your VHS is being copied to the DVD. The time it takes is the amount of time the VHS tape is. It must run through the VHS tape in real time to copy to the DVD.

Step 4:
When the VHS tape is done being copied the unit will stop. Turn on the TV ("On" button located on top of unit).
Step 5:
Press DVD on remote as circled and then System menu as circled.
Step 6:
A new menu will appear on the TV.

Step 7:
Press the down arrow on remote as circled until Disc Setting is highlighted on the TV screen and then hit enter on the remote.


Step 8:
Hit enter again to select a Disc Name. Once you have finished typing a name select Finish as circled.

Step 9:
Select Disc Finalize and hit Enter. Select OK when the box appears.

The screen will show a progress bar while the DVD is being finalized. This process may take several minutes.

Step 10:
When this screen goes away the process is finished and you may remove your VHS and DVD from the unit by pressing the circled buttons. Please remember to turn off the TV before leaving.
